"Run!" says Katniss Everdeen. Once, again Peeta and Katniss have entered the arena for the Quarter Quell. Katniss is threatened by President Snow because of how she made her "fake" act for love for Peeta in the arena when she pulled out those berries. Peeta and Katniss have to go on the victor tour where Peeta asks Katniss to marry him. Just when she thought everything that could possibly go wrong, she is modeling wedding dresses and finds out that past victors from the HUNGER GAMES will be participating in the Quarter Quell. In the arena, one of Katniss's allies helps Katniss figure out that the arena is like a clock. In the end, Katniss no longer wants to fight, so she blows off the force field of the arena so the rebel ship could get in. Before, Katniss entered the arena again she found Twill and Bonnie, two people from district 8 in search for district 13. Everybody thinks it's blown up, except they. Final Computer Lab Response

Today, the class learned about which jobs go with certain people and how much the jobs pay. For those that don't know what they want to be when they grow up, there was a quiz that asked them like or dislike questions, and then it would come up with the results and give them a few suggestions about what they would probably like. The class, also used a website that asks a person how they want to live in the future, and at the end it shows all the expenses the person chose. It also shows what jobs would make enough money to pay the expenses. Today, we got prepared to know how the expenses in our future will be, if they turn to be out the way we they should.

"I VOLUNTEER!" says Katniss at the district 12 reaping. Katniss volunteers to enter the arena where she will fight against other contestants, instead of letting her little sister go. In THE HUNGER GAMES, by Suzanne Collins, Katniss and Peeta are chosen to enter the arena to fight against other people from other districts. Katniss having no skill of fighting except for hunting with a bow and arrow, is scared when she enters the arena and decides to hide as long as possible. When, she hears that two people will be able to win, she is excited and tries to survive till the end with Peeta. What will happen next? Will she survive, or not?

Science Lab

Today, in science lab the class learned about how pollution hurts animals, like bears. The class saw how generation after generation of bears is reduced or grown when there is different kind of pollution. The class saw this by putting 10 yellow or (non-polluted) bears in a bucket with 2 green or (polluted) bears. Then, someone had to pick two bears at a time, if one was green and one was yellow, then the yellow one dies because of pollution. When the class finished 5 generations with only two green bears, then another green bear is added. After, going all the way to 6 green bears, the population of bears went extinct. It's amazing how something that nobody ever thinks of could be so harmful to animals.

Science Lab

Today, in science lab, I learned about the petroleum products surrounding me. Scientists, showed that even people with the same type of blood, that eat canned soup for a week, instead of eating homemade soup, had a thousand more chemicals in their body. Now, it's hard to get away from petroleum products because they're everywhere, like in shampoo, clothes, and even the toothpaste I use to brush my teeth. There are some ways to use less petroleum products, like using BPA (Bisphenol A) free bottles, or buying and cooking with organic food. But, I don't think it's enough to stop every 1 out of 35 children from getting Autism. BPA, can cause Autism, Cancer, and other very dangerous sicknesses. There is probably nothing people could do about petroleum products, because practically the petroleum products follow everybody around. People just have to take control of what they use and how it affects them.

Computer Lab

Today, in computer lab the class reviewed more about English and Science, by playing games on the Bitesizemath website. In the English section, we focused on  the dictionary, finding information, and even poetry. Which will help us, later on, by knowing how to use a dictionary and how to spell, even knowing the poetic elements. In the Science section, we learned more about physical processes, like shadows or friction. Also, in the science section we reviewed more about living things, like food chains and the gross microorganisms that could be on Ms. Ullner's hidden pita bread. This will also help us in real life by knowing not to eat the bread that has green looking things on it. In conclusion, the class reviewed English and Science.

Computer Lab

Today in computer lab, the class learned more about geometry by playing games. First, we learned about 2d and 3d shapes. Next, we learned about angles and measures. Both of these help us in "real" life because, if one of us want to be an engineer, designer, or even an architect. Also, we learned more about symmetry and time. These both help is in "real" life too, we will always need to know what time it is because you could be punished. Symmetry also helps you if you want to be a designer, engineer, or an architect. Also, we learned about things that happen every sixty seconds. Like how many songs get downloaded from Pandora or how many emails get emailed every sixty seconds. It is very suprising how many things happen every sixty seconds or one minute.

Computer Lab

Today, in computer lab the class learned more about different math skills. First, we learned about frequency diagrams, which could later help us in the future by making tables or tallying up a game, or even interpreting data. Then, we learned about mean, median, mode, and range. Of course, we should have already know of that because we're learning it in class, but we will probably need this in "real" life someday, like for the frequency diagrams or also interpreting data. Lastly, we learned about probability, this could also be used in the "real" life. One way, is that if you enter the lottery, you will have 1 in a billion chances to win the lottery, but it could happen because it has.

Computer Lab

Today,I learned how an organization like WFS helps end world hunger. There are six before the hungry can receive their food. First, WFS would have to find the people. Next, WFS would have to prepare the food which is very simple but, the hungry get very good calories and protein. Also, it only takes about thirty cents to make the food containing oils, salt, and rice. Organizations, all around he world are trying to save world hunger in he places the hungry need it most.

What happens when all the coal runs out to make peoples energy? In case that happens people could use wind energy or even solar energy , but cars can't run on solar energy because they are too heavy. Wind won't work either because it won't take people in the direction they want to go. That is why people use a variety of ways to get their energy. They get the energy from: coal, wind, solar, hydro, geothermal, nuclear, and natural gas. Those are all ways people get energy, but in order to get that energy each one has a different process of making the energy. In order to make hydroelectric energy, water flowing through a dam turns a turbine and that generates electricity. Not all processes are that easy, like energy from coal. First, people have to mine the coal, then they have to burn it in order to make energy. In conclusion, someday there will have to be a different way of making energy, that will work, that doesn't hurt the earth.

Computer Lab

You might wonder what is Autodidact ism? Well in case you were wondering it is when you teach yourself instead if being taught by someone else. In computer lab we learned about some people that do that. They learn it for them selves and then teach it to us online. They try to teach themselves however they can. Even some people try to teach themselves about things like will a fortune cookie predict the future or what is an aglet. People all over the world are teaching themselves all the time.
